Idaho Attorney General offers foreclosure handbook

BOISE, Idaho (AP) -- Idaho Attorney General Lawrence Wasden says his office has published two handbooks to help Idaho residents avoid foreclosure and safely buy homes.

The free handbooks are on the office's Web site. Wasden says one describes common foreclosure scams and ways people can avoid foreclosure fraud, and the other includes information about preparing to buy a home, finding a loan and federal and state laws affecting home buyers.
