Boy injured in hit-and-run back at school
BOISE, Idaho (AP) -- Authorities say a 13-year-old who was struck by a minivan while riding his bicycle in Meridian is recovering from a concussion and broken arm.
Meridian Police Chief Jeff Lavey says the boy, who was seriously injured during the crash at about 5 p.m. on Monday, has since returned to school.
Police are looking for anyone who may have witnessed the white minivan crash into the Meridian Middle School student as he rode his bicycle before driving away.
The driver has been described as a woman between ages 40 and 45 with short, dark-colored hair.
